"American Girl," is coming out Thanksgiving Day on all platform! It is our deconstructed cover of Tom Petty's 1976 hit.
We would never try to pretend to improve on such an iconic song from one of the best artists of all time. We did change it quite a bit tho. this version is very piano-based. Jim brought his improvisational piano (and accordion) skills to the legendary London Bridge Studios with us to create a song of longing, worship, desperation and then joy. This, intentionally, was the first time we ever played this song together. We wanted a genuine rawness and under-produced feel to it.
